Board of Supervisors

It is the opinion of this editor, that all (each and every one) of the Maricopa Board of Supervisors need to be replaced in the next election.

The editor of this site has come to this conclusion based upon the following:

  1. As a for-fee consultant assisting clients with problems at the County Planning and Development department has, unfortunately, had many dealings with the various Supervisors and have found each of them to be calloused, mis-informed, disinterested, complicit in the problems and down-right rude and unprofessional.
  2. Certain Supervisors have engaged in activities supporting activities in the Valley which are vehemently opposed by the majority of the Maricopa County voters and which have nothing to do with their tasks as a County Supervisor.
  3. Actions of the Board members at the public BOS meetings belie the fact that the members come to the meetings  predisposed to their votes and pay little, and some none, attention to testimony presented by the public they serve.
  4. All of the investigations conducted by, then Maricopa County Attorney – Andrew Thomas and Maricopa County Sheriff – Joe Arpaio uncovered many facts to lead more than one Grand Jury to the conclussion there may be sufficient evidence for trial for several of the Board members.
  5. Using the old adage of, "Where there is smoke, there is fire", it appears to this editor that (at the very least) the Supervisors involved did not avoid the perception of impropriety.
  6. Last, but not least, are the writings of the authors of Common Sense as distributed by azstatesmen@gmail.com

In this editor's opinion, using the writings of Common Sense to illustrate the possible corruption of these five elected Board members – who have held their offices long past their perceived interest in "doing the people's business", the links to many of the articles, as written by Common Sense are listed below.
